Hélène l'Heuillet is a
philosopher and
psychoanalyst. She holds an agregation and a PhD in
Philosophy (1999).
Lecturer in moral and political philosophy at the
University of Paris-Sorbonne, she is also a member of the International Lacanian Association. She is also a member of the editorial board of the journal
Raison publique and of the reading committee of the journal
Les études philosophiques. Her research is situated within the framework of applied political philosophy, based on a diversified corpus, consisting of the history of classical and contemporary philosophy, social sciences, and psychoanalytical theory and practice. Hercurrent research topics are Political and Ethical Philosophy, Police and Security, War, Violence and Terrorism, and Neighbourhood and Human Coexistence.
