Xavier Latour

Xavier Latour is Associate Professor of Public Law, holds a doctorate in law from the University of Paris-Descartes (1998) and is a specialist in security and defence law. Professor at the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis, which became Université Côte d'Azur in September 2013, he is a member of the Centre d'études et de recherches en droit administratif, constitutionnel, financier et fiscal (CERDACFF), where he is co-head of the National Security cluster. He has been Dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Science since 2019. At the same time, and again since 2013, Xavier Latour is Secretary General of the French Association of Security and Defence Law.
