Arturo Alvarado

Dr. Arturo Alvarado holds a doctorate in sociology from the Colegio de México. He is a member of the teaching staff of the Colegio de México and was Director of the Center for Sociological Studies until 2018. He is currently coordinator of the Rodolfo Stavenhagen Chair in Human Rights sponsored by El Colegio de México and the National Human Rights Commission. His research focuses on human rights, justice, urban governance and democracy in Latin America.
