Michel Gandilhon
Michel Gandilhon is currently a researcher at the French Observatory for Drugs and Drug Addiction (OFDT) where he works in the DATA unit on issues related to the drug market, cannabis legalization policies and drug geopolitics. He coordinates the publication Drogues, enjeux internationaux. In parallel, he regularly speaks on these issues at the Institut national des hautes études sur la sécurité et la justice (INHESJ); at the Conservatoire national des Arts et Métiers (CNAM), as part of the master's degree in criminology; and at Sciences-Po Saint-Germain-en-Laye. He is a member of the Scientific Orientation Council of the Observatory of International Criminalities (OBSCI) at the Institute of International and Strategic Relations (IRIS) and of the editorial boards of the journals Sécurité Globale and Swaps. In 2011 he published, through the publishing house Les Nuits rouges, a history of the FARC (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia), and has published dozens of reports, articles throughout his career on the issue of illicit drugs.
