Laurent Nerich

Laurent NERICH is a French Army senior officer. Trained at Saint-Cyr, he is also a graduate from the Ecole de Guerre and the School of Advanced Warfighting in Quantico (USA), where he studied within the renowned Marine Corps University. He has been engaged multiple times in combat missions and operational deployments, most often in a multinational environment.

Passionate about military history and ethnology, his main research fields are asymetric warfare, evolution of military doctrine, cognitive warfare, as well as the cultural dimensions of conflicts. Holding a PhD in history, he is also the author of the acclaimed book « La petite guerre et la chute de la Nouvelle France ».
