Pascal Chaigneau is
Professor at the University of Paris-Descartes where he is in charge of the
Political Science Department and the Masters in "Development Policies" and "Export Practice". A lawyer specialising in international law, he is a foreign trade adviser and director of Radio France Internationale. Director of the
Centre d'Études Diplomatiques et Stratégiques (CEDS), he is in charge of the annual publication
"Enjeux Diplomatiques et Stratégiques" (Diplomatic and Strategic Stakes) and the International Relations collection of Éditions Économica. Administrator of the National Defense Studies Committee, he is a member of the reading committees of the
Bulletin d'Études de la Marine and the
Revue Défense Nationale. He has devoted half a dozen books to international relations.
